The powerful gMax 2 PRO direct drive extruder utilizes high-performance all-metal Slice Engineering® Copperhead™ hotend that is able to print in a variety of industrial grade materials ranging from 85A Flexible TPU to Polycarbonate to Carbon Fiber-Reinforced Nylon. Additional hotends can be swapped out including the E3D v6.

With the gMax 2 PRO 3D printer, easily swap nozzles to suit your project thanks to the universally accepted hotend design.

0.2mm Nozzle - Fine Detail

Finer nozzles such as 0.2mm are great for tiny, high detailed prints and work beautifully on the gMax 2 PRO.


Sacrifice speed in exchange for greater detail. Smaller nozzles requires care and attention to use well but they are worth the effort if showcasing intricate detail is what you are after. 

1.2 mm Nozzle - Fast Printing

Larger nozzles up to 1.2mm are great for producing large strong parts very quickly. Thanks to a 50 watt heater cartridge using a large nozzle with high plastic flow is a breeze.


Depending on your settings, you can see time reductions of up to 75% vs using finer nozzles and parts that are much stronger.

Swap Hotends for High Flow or High Temp

The gMax 2 PRO extruder was designed to fit the common "groove mount" style hotend allowing for many professional and hight quality replacements. From the industry recognized E3D v6 to the high quality Slice Engineering hotends they can all fit on the single extruder.
